Todays needle treatment is based on mechanisms of action well rooted in natural science. The treatment must not be confused with traditional acupuncture. The needle treatment you receive with us is primarily aimed at reducing the degree of stiffness and increasing homogeneity in skeletal muscles, before and at the same time as active measures are implemented.

 

In addition, the needles can also be a good supplement in pain management for osteoarthritis in the knee or problems from the tendon system. For pain treatment, 4–8 treatments are usually attempted.

 

The needles we use are CE marked and approved by the Norwegian Health Authority. These are sterile disposable needles. We adjust the thickness and length of the needle depending on which structures are to be treated.
